Jon has been working as a shipwright in Devon and Cornwall for more than 20 years. He has acted as foreman for Ashley Butler on the complete rebuilds of Brixham Trawler Pilgrim, Porthleven Pilchard Driver Pet and Itchen Ferry Sheltie as well as on the 50′ new build bermudan cutter Bonaventure. He also acted as foreman for Luke Powell on the new build Falmouth Pilot Cutter Pellew.

Passenger Ferry Kinglsey

We’ve rebuilt the starboard bow and foredeck.

Falmouth Working Boat Endeavour

Reframing and replanking after the boat fell over.

Pilot Cutter Cariad

We’ve reframed an replanked the port die with new beamshelf and stringer. We will be replacing half of the deck, fitting out and making new spars.
